for the eight of you who read...

i haven't forgotten about you :)

just been super busy this week.

mike and friends (and dad) ripped out the 'finished' part of the basement only to reveal drywall under the paneling, rotting wood under the drywall and a big crack. oh also gross insulation, a dead mouse or two and some leaves.

it's kind of been home improvement hell around here this week.

so we've had people out here all week evaluating our crack (and fixing it)- the crack team came out. no, seriously, they are called the crack team. despite their goofy website they were very good. we also had someone come look at the mold (thankfully not a problem), then it was on to the patio that is sliding towards our house that needs to at least be removed before winter... though we're not sure what's going on after that. we have a couple people on their way out to give estimates.

besides all the home stuff, school is definitely in the swing for everyone and we're slowly getting back on a routine.

i found an article in the paper about different apple orchards around the area, so i think next weekend we're all going to take a breather and go have us some fall fun!
