weekend!

we had a busy busy weekend.

jack spend the night at gwa gwa and gwampas (his words, not mine) and it's amazing what you can get done with a little motivation of "free time"....we finished painting the baby's room, rearranged jack's room and put these cool wall thingies on there -- i promise i post pictures soon. it looks pretty cool. we also put up blinds in our bathroom to see if we'd like the style and mount for the other rooms. the other 3 blinds are in my trunk awaiting installation now (we liked them!), we did a lot of little odd jobs that were adding up, including fixing and reinstalling everything on my crashed computer. i still have to hook up the wireless link, but that may just be a quick phone call to linksys... took off some doors we didn't want, found the door pulls we wanted for the other doors (we have these doors that connect the dining room/kitchen, family room/living room and family room/hallway... those are ready to go..

ok, like you really wanted to hear the list of jobs we got done. how boring!

we did get to have dinner with 6 other couples on saturday- most of whom we haven't seen since summer started so that was really nice...

jack was really excited to see circles and squares on his wall today when he got home. that was probably the best part of the weekend- he appreciated my work :) i will take a pic tomorrow- he's sleeping now and i'm sure wouldn't appreciate a flash in his face!
