Enjoy.

I am a big fan of Ali Edwards. She is a insanely talented person and has a wonderful outlook on life.
She sends out a weekely (? I get it in my inbox every once in a while) "AEZine" with random stuff- stuff about living your life, scrapbooking and creating with meaning. She has started a tradition (since last year)of choosing one word to focus on throughout the year. She encouraged her readers to do the same, so I'm choosing the word ENJOY.

I need to take time out of my schedule, busy life, etc. to just simply enjoy. Enjoy my children (time goes way too fast). Enjoy my husband (we get caught up in the everyday stresses way too often to take time out for each other). Enjoy my maternity leave (even though I miss hearing all the gossip at work). Enjoy life, in general. Life is too short to worry about details and the small stuff. I need to stop and smell the roses (but I prefer tulips) more, even if that means the floor is dirty, the laundry isn't folded, or an appointment is cancelled. I hope to share on my blog here what I'm currently enjoying as I try to focus on that more this year.

And with that, here is Charlie's one month picture. Have I enjoyed the last month? Yes, I have, but it went way too fast. Hence, my new "enjoy" focus...



Currently, I'm also enjoying OK GO.. A Chicago based band that has recently gained more popularity in the mainstream. Lovin' their song Here It Goes Again lately. They are goofy, fun guys.

I'm also enjoying my friend Erin's new blog. She got a new digital camera recently and it taking random pictures of here life, one a day.
