one. one cicada. that's all we've found in our yard.

kids at school are bringing them to me by the jar full (the live ones) and the bagful (the shells). i'm still completely grossed out by it, but still crossing my fingers that no more than one will show up here.

there is the tiniest part of me that wishes we had found more, but a bigger (much bigger) part of is so glad we aren't stepping around and on these things with every step!
