this is totally the thing i love.

send an email to your future self. i sent one today to my self, to open a year from now, reminding me how freaked i was about these cicadas. i'll see if i even remember what a cicada is one year from now :)

i'm thinking i might try and send one in 17 years again- to see if i will be freaked out again in 17 years when the next brood emerges.

and maybe i'll send one to my 40 year old self, reminding myself of some personal goals.... we'll see.
