the weather was great (though a teensy bit hot)... and we had a blast! the four of us got to ride on the 'winners of special events' float in front of a sign that said diaper derby... the crowd loved seeing charlie and the 1st place winner taylor. it was a great time. i was a little worried- it was all taking place during the time charlie should have been napping, but he was a trooper... and by the end he was clapping and waving to everyone. we saw lots of people we knew too, so that was fun.

and... no sign of florence henderson. we looked too. not sure what that was all about. i was a wee bit disappointed!
