father's day

me: so tomorrow is father's day? what do you think we should do special for dad?

jack: make him a picture.

me: what kind of picture?

jack: one that says, I love you Dad! And says you love butterflies and pears.

me: dad like butterflies and pears?

jack: or, we could make him a book, like diary of a worm (a book they both know well knows well) except call it diary of a poo.

me: what do you mean?

jack: like show what a poo's life is like.

me: hmm.

jack: or we could just go buy krispy kreme for dad and me and charlie and you. you like krispy kreme mom?

me: maybe we should leave it up to dad. all of those are such good ideas.
