crack me up, and i'm excited!

this cracks me up. even though any reader of this blog can probably guess who i back politically this year (and i'm usually not this vocal about it) but i saw this clip of little piper palin grooming her brother at her mom's big moment and thought it was very cute...


in other news...
* charlie just decided he's going to stay in his crib now. yay!
* but for some reason that also means he thinks it's morning anywhere between 4:45 and 5:15. boo.
* but he likes the show hi-5 so we watches the same tivoed episode every morning while we doze for just a little longer. yay!
* jack's first soccer game is this sunday. i'm sure me and my camera will be there. yay!
* i leave to go on a solo adventure to maine for a long weekend for my friend lori's wedding. i'm super psyched to (a) travel without children {love my kids, hate to travel with them right now} (b) see a lot of old friends i haven't seen in a long time (c) get to hang out pretty much the whole weekend with my best (and only) sis. we have plans to take a ferry to this remote island off the coast of maine where it looks like pretty much only artist and lobstermen live. i plan to bring a book and a camera and relax a bit. i'm very much looking forward to it!
