It's 2006!
Happy New Year!
We had a fabulous start to our year!
We spent the day at the Museum of Science and Industry with Mike's mom. Jack was exceptionally well behaved, even without having his nap until we got in the car at around 3:15. He had a great time and the museum wasn't crowded at all, which means he was able to do a lot of running around. He especially loved the airplanes and the trains. We especially loved that we each got in free with our teacher IDs and since Jack isn't 3 yet, we all got in free!
We came home and had leftovers for dinner, and as you can see, Jack had a great time at dinner tonight :)
Last night was pretty quiet. We got food from Sushi House (had a gift certficate!) and after Jack was in bed we ate it and then watched War of the Worlds (lame, I thought). We were in bed around 11, after the NYC ball dropped... We had fun remembering the time we were in Times Square a few years ago with Becky and Lee. We'd go back in a second! Good times.
Madzinski New Year Goals:
1. Save more money
2. Acheive #1 by eating out less (we're writing it all down!)
3. Have Mike finish his Master's degree (one more class) which will help out in the #1 category
4. Have a 'date' night every Saturday- whether that means just a movie from Netflix or hiring a babysitter and going out. (kind of defeating #1, eh?)
Happy New Year- hope 2006 is the best yet!

what kind of teacher ID do you have? is it something your district gives or something i can get somewhere? look at me, i'm asking questions like i'm YOU! lol
dan and i have date night every sat. we watch a dvd most of the time, but it's still time we set aside to snuggle and just spend together. it's a great idea.
