i'm going to kind of miss katie couric. only because she's been a staple of morning tv for most all of my adult life. it'll seem really weird, not necessarily better, with meredith viera on the today show. i'm not sure they'll have the same chemistry (mer and matt) and katie and matt do...
i tivoed today's today show so i can see all the fanfare with katie's leaving...

I think Meredith will be awesome on Today. She has the perfect balance of smarts and humor. Plus she doesn't have that ass-kissie-ness that Katie Couric developed in her later years on the show. Ugh and her ego got out of hand. If Meredith does the same thing I will have to call her up and give her a reality check.
