while you were sleeping...
or supposed to be anyway...
it was one of those afternoons where jack was giving us a hard time about napping. we had to keep going there to redirect him into his bed, etc. finally we thought he was asleep because it was quiet. no big deal.
then about 20 min. later i hear his door open. i get up, fully ready to be stern with him and tell him he needs to go take a nap... and i am greeted by THIS:.jpg)

SO do I laugh or cry?
I first yell down to Mike- "get up here and bring the camera... stat!" and I'm trying to be mad and not laugh at the same time. Jack is completely covered with Eucerin. I had just bought a brand new tub of it and now it's practically gone. He smeared at least an inch of it on his head and body, on his walls, his Mickey and Goofy, his blankies, sheets, bedspread, floor, everywhere. If you aren't familiar with Eucerin, it's THICK. We use it for his eczema and it's really greasy.
We stripped everything (in the meantime we have Charlie in the other room coughing up a lung) and put it in the wash. I throw Jack in the tub and after 5 shampooings the stuff is still in his hair. The water just repels off it like it's no big deal. I am hoping once it dries I can wash it some more and it'll come out, otherwise he's going to need his head shaved.
So after we get mad at him and explain what he did wrong he so sweetly apologizes. Episode over. I tell him to get in his room so we can get him dressed again.
And not one minute later goes and climbs up on his bed and pees all over it. On purpose, it was no accident because he gave us that sh*tty little grin and giggled. I put him in time out. He seemed remorseful. My mistake was I put him in time out with no clothes on.I see him looking down on the floor and there he is, peeing on the floor, then giving me that same grin.
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.
I'm not sure this is what I signed up for :)

First of all, those big brown eyes are adorable.
Secondly, I too, got mad at my mom and pulled down my pants and peed on my bed. On purpose. In high school.
Ok, but wouldn't that have been funny?
Oh my. Definitely laugh... crying doesn't help. Connor colored his WHITE wall purple one time... the entire damn wall.
Nope it's not what we signed up for, but it's what we have.
OMG that is a RIOT!!!! Just like my son when he knocked the Christmas tree over this year! OMG you poor thing! I totally feel for you. Keep that tube out of reach from now on! Yikes!
