i'm a harry potter widow

Mike waited in line at midnight on Friday to get the 7th Harry Potter. Now every time I look at him he's reading it- while eating, while standing there, while Jack is watching Caillou, he's going to bed super early so he can read... not like him! I guess it could be a worse obsession, right? I have no interst in reading it, so I'll hear the cliff notes from him when he's finished. Though I have to say that I did go online to find out the ending and keep taunting Mike, telling him I know how it ends...

This is by far the busiest summer I've had! (As you can see by my lack of blogging...)

Here are some random summer fun shots- Jack got a new bike, we went to Kiddieland with some friends, the play area in the backyard is done...Jack got this cool yellow car for getting potty trained (though we're still working on 100%...)...Charlie is getting bigger by the second... The Seattle family is out for a visit for the next week or so, so we celebrated Art and Michele's Birthdays. I made a volcano cake. No real reason, just thought it'd be different than a square or round cake, which I feel like I've been making all summer.
