encouraging.

we are encouraged! when charlie visited the allergist today, he seemed to think it wasn't hives that caused that nasty reaction a few weeks ago. he still sent him for bloodwork, so we'll find out one way or the other, but he said that the way those hives reacted, and since he is still sensitive (he scratched him with a tongue depressor and a minute later it welted up) that it tends to look more like a virus that would manifest itself in hives. it could last a few weeks to a few months and he prescribed some antihistimine to help it clear up.

next week we should find out the results of his bloodwork, but how awesome would that be if it wasn't food allergies!? a tiny ray of hope for now! yay!
