branded.

so last night i stopped at kohl's and bought jack a few new things. his shirts are too short and most of them are pretty trashed anyway from a year of paint and markers at preschool... so i bought him some BOGO shorts- just plain blue and plain gray... and i was met with "but do they have the little crooked thing on the leg" cause i only like shorts with that crooked thing on them"....After a few minutes of, "Huh? What crooked thing?" I determined he meant the "Nike" symbol. he has one pair (exactly one) of basketball shorts that someone gave him that are nike shorts.

Of course!... why did i not take into consideration that my 4 year old already is under the peer pressure of having brand name clothing. he only likes nike shorts and shirts with pictures (or numbers) on them (such as transformers, ninja turtles, and soccer balls).

and whatever he wears to bed had better match whatever we put on charlie after his bath... otherwise he's not a happy boy.
