jack is hitting his groove again at school. i love that his school will email parents once in a while with snapshots of their day. today, jack was the star of the pictures. (usually they are group shots) yes, that's a real butterfly. jack reported twice the butterfly landed and stayed on his face. we think the butterfly liked him because he's so sweet. :)

day 2 update of 'operation big boy bed'... hmm. it only took us about 30 min to get Charlie to finally lay down. i think the next step is to remove his rocking chair. every time he got up, he'd go sit in his chair and rock. he redirects fine back to his bed, but as soon as you leave he gets up and goes on the chair, sits there, gets down (with a thud) then comes and finds you...
