no winter wonderland for us
jack got up in a very weird mood this morning. he woke up around 5:45 and then as soon as mike picked him up he kind of laid there with him. then he wiggled down to the floor and laid on the floor and fell asleep. then when he woke up again (an hour on the floor!) i went in there and brought him into bed with me. and he actually laid there. not sure what's up with that. he's NEVER like that. so we stayed home from winter wonderland extravaganzaa, even though we thought about going, called up the relatives, said yes, then no, then yes, then finally no after late morning proved to be a little more of the lethargic same. which ultimately turned out to be an okay thing because jack did end up puking a little after his afternoon nap. something just isn't okay with him but we haven't figured it out yet. we're laying low today.
i'm doing some research on how to spend our gift cards. we both want an ipod with a bose docking station and speakers and a new, tiny digital camera to take with us more easily. the trouble is, we don't have enough gift cards at one place to buy even one of these things, so we need to make some choices. i think we're leaning towards a new digicam because it'll get used a lot more.
and we still have the rest of this week off! waaahoo!!!
p.s the new sheets match our newly painted room/bedspread wonderfully. pretty cool!

i have the i-station and i LOVE it! i did some research first, and it got the best reviews. it was quite a bit cheaper via amazon than even target, but i don't suppose you have amazon gift cards.

There is a website where you can exchange your gift cards for ones of the same amount for the store you want. I’m sure if you search for it you could find it and get what you wanted then! Sorry Jack is still sick !
