we're home!

jack and i made it back from boston to chicago without too much trouble. getting through security on friday was a little more of a pain than what i'm used to, but it's all good.
we had a great time- picking blueberries, visiting the ocean, going to see and ride an old train, visiting his grandparents and great-grandparents, great aunts and uncles and cousins.
of course he had the best time with his favorite cousin brady. the two of them were maniacs in maine together. becky, brady, jack and i drove down to boston on thursday night and hung out in beantown together until they drove us to the airport on friday. despite becky almost losing her keys, reading the wrong set of directions to get us through the airport, and navigating our way through an stroller unfriendly city, we had a great time!
mike had us all moved in by the time we returned, but there are still a million and one things to do around here, not to mention each of us getting ready for the start of the school year... it'll all get done. there is just a lot to get done.
one of the cool things jack did over the week was to ride on the 4 wheeler with uncle lee and his cousin brady. he was real apprehensive at first, but then started to like it after a while... he certainly gets a different taste of life while we're out east!
